24P CineGamma vs. Traditional 60i video format

* 24P CineGamma (R) look and feel - Why settle for the harsh, un-romantic, news looking video when your wedding can have that multi-million cinema look? This is the future of video. We are taking full advantage of the technology to benefit you. Briefly, this is an exciting technology that uses advanced DSP electronics to make it look similar to motion picture film. Here are quick examples to the difference between traditional video (60i) and 24/30P CineGamma look:

Traditional 60i (60 fields/sec. interlaced) video - looks harsh, inexpensive, and unromantic. Overall colors are dull and lackluster. These are the most common video format outthere. Although we can still shoot in this format (if client prefers), we strongly recommend client to choose the new 24P CineGamma look shown at the next section.

24P CineGamma colorimetry. Significant improvement in the overall picture quality. 24P is the term use to describe 24 frame-per-second, progressive recording. We will not get too deep technically here. Basically, our camcorders are capable of recording the same frame rate that we all grown to love - the movies. From a glance, you can see that it has a softer, more film-like look than the examples shown above. Colors are vivid, strong, and natural. On a good TV monitor, it looks just like a digital still image taken with a high end digital still camera. This is the actual image directly out the camera. We do not use any filmlook computer processing software, which degrades the picture because of the multiple encoding and processing cycles. According to Panasonic, CineGamma provides natural shading and rich coloration to produce images strikingly similar in tone to film images. This technology is being used on current hit TV shows, and will be on your wedding - exclusively through TSPECT Productions.
